Xiaomi 11i hypercharge goes official with 120W fast charging

After numerous teasers and leaks, the Xiaomi 11i hypercharge officially launched in India with 120W fast charging. It became the first smartphone to come with 120W fast charging support in India.

Xiaomi 11i hypercharge Specifications:

From the looks, the device looks quite similar to The Xiaomi Mi 10T series launched last year. There is a similar style rectangular camera module at the back and a hole punch at the top center of the display for the selfie camera.

The device supports a flat 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display that supports a higher 120 Hz refresh rate and 360 Hz touch sampling rate. The display has symmetrical “Ultra-narrow bezels” on the sides.

Xiaomi 11i hypercharge

Xiaomi Mi 11 hypercharge comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The storage can be expanded up to 1TB through a micro SD card. It is also the first device to launch with MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset in India. There is also an option to expand RAM up to 3GB using a virtual RAM option feature in MIUI 12.5.

On the back, is a rectangular camera module that houses a triple rear camera and a dual-tone LED flashlight. There is a Samsung-made HM2 108 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2 MP macro camera. Upfront is a 16 MP selfie shooter housed in a punch hole cut out that supports portrait mode, 4K video, night mode, and more camera features.

The highlight of this device is its 120W fast charging capabilities. There is a 4500 mAh battery inside the phone which seems decent in 2022 that supports 120W fast charging. The phone can be charged in 15 minutes with 120W fast charging.

Additionally, there is an MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11 out of the box, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a vapor chamber cooling system. The device also comes with an IP53 rating for water and dust resistance, a 3.5mm audio jack, dual stereo speaker, Bluetooth 5.2, and Wi-Fi 6.

Xiaomi 11 5G:

The company also launched Xiaomi 11 5G along with the 11i hypercharge.  Xiaomi 11 5G is a trimmed-down version of the Xiaomi 11i hypercharge model. There are a few differences between the two devices. The Xiaomi 11 5G comes with a slightly bigger 5160 mAh battery pack that supports 67W fast charging instead of 120W fast charging. The remaining all specification of both the devices are the same.
