Air Canada Adds Apple TV+ Content to its Infotainment Library

To keep it’s customers entertained better, Air Canada is partnering with Apple to bring it’s Apple TV+ content to the in-flight infotainment system.

Air Canada’s in-flight infotainment current library is already huge and adding Apple TV+ will only make it better – since it’s complimentary. Also, to celebrate this partnership, both companies are offering a free two-month Apple TV+ subscription to new and returning customers in Canada.

Apple TV+ on Air Canada Flights

One of the many perks aircraft carriers give customers is an infotainment system that keeps them engaged throughout the journey. While it’s expected that you won’t always like what they have, carriers are doing their best to add watchable content in their infotainments.

In this pursuit, Air Canada is partnering with Apple to add TV+ content to it’s in-flight infotainment system. As announced today, this partnership brings popular shows like Ted Lasso, Bad Sisters, Severance and Foundation to the flight’s entertainment screens.

Air Canada’s infotainment is already huge, with over 420 movies, 1,000 episodes of TV shows, 130 music albums, plus multiple podcasts and Apple TV+ content will now make the flight journey even better. Though Air Canada said the fruits of this partnership will be seen from today, it’s unknown whether it’s available for all the flights or specific classes.

Well, to celebrate this partnership, both companies are offering a free two-month Apple TV+ subscription to new and returning customers in Canada. This offer is only available until the end of August, so enrol quickly if you live in Canada and have a working Apple ID. Talking about this partnership, Air Canada’s Managing Director of Product Design,
John Moody said;

“This new partnership with Apple puts us on track to increase our onboard entertainment content by more than 95 per cent since last year.”
