Following it’s routine of launching limited edition products on special occasions, Apple announced a special edition AirPods 2 in China, citing the upcoming New Year celebrations.
This special edition AirPods 2 has a rabbit face engraved on it’s case and the retail box, while the features and price remain the same. Also, there are discounts on a bunch of Apple products and limited edition OtterBox cases for iPhone 14 coming up.
Raining Discounts and Special Edition Gadgets
Similar to previous years’ routine of launching a limited edition on the new year occasions in China, Apple has just announced a special edition AirPods 2 for the upcoming Year of Rabbit 2022 – in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau.
The special edition AirPods 2 will have a rabbit face engraved on their case and the retail box – signifying the Chinese Year of the Rabbit. Except for that, there’s no change in the features or pricing of these limited-edition earbuds. Well, each person can only buy two pairs of special edition AirPods 2, says Apple.
Scheduled on January 22, the Chinese New Year will rain discounts on a wide range of Apple products for local users – with some having a steep price drop of ¥1,000! Products on offer include iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPad Air, iPad mini, iPad, MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, second-generation AirPods, and third-generation AirPods.
Aside from this, Apple is offering OtterBox’s limited-edition Chinese New Year case for iPhone 14 models. Well, all these are available from December 30th to January 2nd only, so hurry up.
Also, Apple is offering free “Today at Apple” sessions to all the customers in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, and Singapore – where they can create a New Year portrait using an iPhone and share it with their friends. This offer is only available on January 6 and February 7 in Apple retail stores.
