What we thought was a loose banter between the billionaires is likely turning real. Elon Musk has just announced that a fight between him and Mark Zuckerberg is happening but with no official date yet.
Yet, he said the fight will not be managed by UFC but by the Musk and Zuckerberg foundations. He even claims to have talked to the PM of Italy and the Minister of Culture, who agreed to offer the billionaires “an epic location” to fight on.
Fight in an Epic Location
There’s no end to what the rich can do. Even with the stacks of money, they sometimes do the craziest things on the planet. One among these is the upcoming fight between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg, sprouting new hype daily.
After Zuckerberg said he’s ready for the fight call and even proposed a date as August 25th, Elon Musk now says he’s fixing the avenue in Italy – although he didn’t disclose what it is exactly. Earlier rumours state the country is ready to offer one of it’s highly prestigious Colosseum, but there’s no official confirmation.
The fight will be managed by my and Zuck’s foundations (not UFC).
Livestream will be on this platform and Meta. Everything in camera frame will be ancient Rome, so nothing modern at all.

Yet, Musk claims to have talked to the PM of Italy and it’s Minister of Culture, who have agreed on “an epic location“. Also, he clarified the match is not managed by UFC but by his and Zuck’s foundations. A live stream of this fight will be available on X and Meta platforms, and “everything in the camera frame will be ancient Rome, so nothing modern at all“, says Musk.
Reiterating that all the proceeds will go to veterans, Elon Musk said that X Premium or Elon subscribers will get bonuses, perhaps behind the scene footage. While we wait for an official date of this event, we also limit our hopes until this fight turns real, as the billionaires can anytime call this off, saying it’s just a marketing gimmick or something!
