The renders of Google’s upcoming flagship handset continue to leak, with the latest showcasing hands-on images of the Pixel 8 Pro – shared by a tester.
The leaked Images reveal the phone’s body design, which includes the display, edges and the camera layout. Further, a boot screen notes the device’s memory and storage configuration as 12GB + 128GB, with a codename as “husky“.
Pixel 8 Pro Leaks
Google is set to debut it’s next-gen smartphone – The Pixel 8 Series, later this year. But since it’s so poor at keeping up with secrets, leaks of these gadget surface now and then. The latest in this pursuit comes from a person with whom Google shared a Pixel 8 Pro unit for testing.
Breaking the NDA rule, the person shared the device’s renders on Reddit, showcasing it’s appearance. The upcoming Pixel 8 Pro has more curvey edges this time than it’s predecessors. This corroborates a previous leak stating the Pixel 8’s display curvature to be twice that of the Pixel 7 Pro.
Also, the phone has a flat display this time, dumping the curved panel idea found on previous Pixels. The boot screen shows some internal details like the handset’s codename as “husky“, it’s RAM configuration as Samsung LPDDR5 with a capacity of 12 GB and 128 GB internal storage supplied by SK Hynix.
At the rear, the handset got several stickers stating the device was meant for testing and evaluation while revealing the camera layout. From this view, Pixel 8 Pro is touted to have a triple-camera setup housed in a unified pill, which is slightly bigger than its predecessor.
While the camera configurations aren’t known yet, previous leaks state the device would have a 50MP primary sensor and a larger 64MP Sony IMX787 ultra-wide sensor. These, coupled with the new Tensor G3 chipset with staggering HDR support, should make it an eye feast for the users.
