JBL Debuts ‘Live 3’ Series TWS Earbuds With Touchscreen Display

JBL at the CES 2024 announced three new touchscreen-enabled TWS earbuds, called Live Buds 3, Live Beam 3 and Live Flex 3.

All these support premium features like noise cancellation, high-res audio, wireless charging and multiple mics for calls. These aside, JBL also debuted wired earphones called Tune 310C and an overhead TWS called Soundgear Sense.

JBL’s New Live 3 Series TWS

One of the pioneers of the audio industry, JBL, has unveiled a bunch of earphones this week at the ongoing CES 2024 event. Starting with the Live 3 series, JBL showcased Live Buds 3, Live Beam 3 and Live Flex 3 – all featuring customizable adaptive noise cancellation, LDAC support for high-res listening, six call mics, wireless charging and multipoint Bluetooth connectivity.

While most critical specifications are similar, they differ in design and fit. While the Live Buds 3 follow a regular earbuds design, the Live Beam 3 and Live Flex 3 come in AirPods-type stick style. Furthermore, Beam 3 earbuds can completely seal off your ears, while the Flex 3 are more open-style.

Finally, Live Buds 3 and Live Flex 3 offer a 10-hour battery life, while the Live Beam 3 has 12 hours – all when the ANC is turned off. The earbuds’ life can be significantly extended by their charging cases and cost $199.95 each. JBL will start selling them in the summer.

JBL has also got the wired USB-C earbuds called the Tune 310C with a three-button, in-line remote for playback and call controls. The earbuds also offer high-resolution listening powered by a built-in digital-to-analogue converter and an onboard call mic. The Tune 310C will be available in March for $24.95.

And if you don’t prefer earbuds that go into your ears, JBL has a new Soundgear Sense to beam the audio over the hook by completely blocking the outside noise. It has a 16.2mm driver to power the audio and comes with a detachable neckband if needed. These hooks are adjustable to help you fine-tune the fit.
