We are still a few months away from the release of the Google Pixel 9 Pro and the Pixel 9 but today we got a fresh image of what is believed to be the upcoming Google Pixel 9 Pro. Google devices have been leaked a few months before the actual release and most of us know what specifications the pixel devices will come with. This is the same case with last year’s Pixel 8 series, also for the Pixel 7 series as well.

Today, we get the first look at the Google Pixel 9 Pro courtesy of Onleaks and Mysmartprice. The first thing that we noticed from the leaked image is a lightly tweaked design of the device from it’s predecessor. This time Google is moving away from curved edges in favor of sharp edges. The display bezels also look slimmer from the edges compared to the Pixel 8 Pro which launched last year.

The most highlighted change that we see from the leaked images is the revamped camera module on the rear side. Google is changing the camera module on it’s upcoming flagship device after three generations. Previously, there was a camera bar that extended to the edges of the rear panel.

However, on the Google Pixel 9 Pro, the camera module looks like the camera module on the Pixel fold. The camera module does not extend to the edges of the rear panel and now the camera module looks like a pill-shaped camera module. The rear camera setup seems like there are triple camera lenses on the pill-shaped camera module along with an LED flashlight and a temperature sensor.

On the right-side rail, there is a power button and a volume button while the left-side rail is kept empty this time. Google moved the sim tray at the bottom of the device next to the USB Type C port as seen in the images. On the top of the device is the microphone and a mmWave antenna mark was also seen in the images.

These are the first leaked images of the device which somehow show us what the device looks like. The detailed specification of the device hasn’t appeared or leaked online yet.
