POCO M6 Pro Launched with Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 Chipset

Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO has launched it’s new budget segment device dubbed The POCO M6 Pro. Recently, Xiaomi launched it’s Redmi 12 5G in India and this POCO M6 Pro is a rebranded version of the Redmi 12 5G as both devices have a similar specification. With the launch of these two devices, Xiaomi has upped it’s budget segment game with impressive specifications at budget prices. Check out the detailed specification below:

POCO M6 Pro Specifications:

The POCO M6 Pro brings the same aesthetic as the other POCO devices. This device has a dual-tone back with a rectangular camera module at the upper section of the rear panel. The camera module has a black tone and has an iPhone-style dual rear camera system, LED flashlight and POCO branding.

The POCO M6 Pro features a 6.79-inch Full HD+ KCD display with an adaptive 90Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 550 nits in broad daylight. The device is made up of plastic, but the display and the rear panel are protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 3. At the top center of the display is a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.

The device ships with the newly launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset and is the second device after Redmi 12 5G to ship with this chipset in India. The chipset is paired with Adreno 613 GPU, up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. There is an option to expand RAM virtually up to 6GB using the internal storage and users can expand the storage up to 1TB using a microSD card. It runs on MIUI 14 on top of Android 13 out of the box.

On the rear side is an iPhone-style dual camera system headlined by the 50MP primary sensor paired with a 2MP depth sensor. The third ring on the camera module houses the dual-tone LED flashlight. The display has an 18MP selfie shooter housed at the punch hole cutout on the top center of the display.

It is powered by a 5000 mAh battery with 18W fast wired charging support. Other specifications include 5G connectivity, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner that doubles as a power button, face unlock, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, IP53 dust & splash resistance, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
