Walmart Listed it’s 2nd Gen Onn Google TV 4K Streaming Box

Walmart is getting closer to launching it’s second generation Onn Google TV 4K streaming box, as the company listed this on it’s website and availability options.

The new streaming box will run on Android 12 interface and an upgraded Amlogic chipset, with 2GB + 8GB memory configurations. Priced at just $20, the new Onn 4K Google TV dongle will give Google’s Chromecast tough competition.

A Google TV 4K Dongle for $20

Amongst the plenty of streaming devices we have today on the planet, Google’s Chromecast and Amazon’s Fire Stick are considered good in their price categories. They offer 4K content streaming with suitable remotes and casting facilities.

But beating them is a new player – Walmart – whose stepping up it’s game in the streaming devices market with a renewed dongle. The retailer has come up with it’s initial product – Onn Google TV 4K Streaming Box in 2021, and now upgrading it to be better, at a cheaper price!

Walmart listed this upgraded Onn streaming box on it’s website – revealing it’s core specifications of 2GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, Amlogic chipset, Android 12 UI and 4K streaming capability. What’s more interesting is that it’s tagged at just $20 – making it a bang for the buck for anyone looking for Google TV with 4K streaming support.

Google’s own Chromecast 4K is priced at $60, while Walmart’s first-gen Onn box cost $30! Thus, the 2nd gen Onn streaming box is a worthy option in the streaming devices market, although its availability is confusing. Though Walmart offers to buy it offline in it’s stores, none of it’s locations has the stock yet.

And the listing it made online doesn’t let people buy it there! So we have to wait a bit longer to see it on the market, probably by this month’s end.
