WhatsApp is reportedly testing the creation and sharing of AI stickers on it’s iOS beta app, which lets users have more fun in conversations.
When available, users can create any sticker by entering just a few keywords and letting AI make it accordingly for them. The output will be several stickers relevant to your input, from which you can select the desired ones and send in your conversations. You can also favourite them for later use and share them with others.
AI Stickers on WhatsApp
For a long time, WhatsApp has been a simple chat app for communicating with friends and family. But with rival messengers luring people in with new features, the OG platform has no choice but to advance itself with new features.
In this pursuit, we saw WhatsApp testing the new AI stickers on it’s latest iOS beta, which will allow users to create and share personalized stickers with the help of AI. This would be part of the Meta AI, a collective term the parent company uses for all it’s AI products.
Meta, at it’s Connect event last week, announced a bunch of AI personalities to assist you across it’s apps and WhatsApp is one among them, where users can get personalized answers.
This aside, the platform is also testing AI stickers for it’s latest iOS beta app, v23.20.1.70, allowing users to create and share stickers. This feature has been in testing for WhatsApp Android beta users previously and is now rolling out to the iOS counterparts.
When available, this option will show up in the keyboard’s sticker tab as a new “Create” button. Users can input simple keywords to let the Meta AI create stickers accordingly and show different outputs to let them choose the best among them.
These AI stickers add more fun to chats, as they’re easy to create, removing the need for advanced design skills or external third-party tools.
