In this pursuit, the platform has added a new “activity” tab in 2020, which houses mood filters to comfort you in relevant situations.

This section is expanding to include more moods, via Cry, Party, Romance, To Feel Good and To Sleep. These options show up beside the current Energize, Workout, Relax, Commute, and Focus, making the total count to eleven.

Selecting either will show further categories like Mixed for you, Listen again, From your library and Similar to[artist] carousels. Different selections will show relevant music to feel accordingly. YouTube Music also updated the background image at the top to suit the situation.

All these new additions are appearing on the YouTube Music mobile apps and web clients gradually, so you have to wait to see them. Well, the original YouTube app has even more filters/topics that dynamically change the Home feed. So, it’s up to you to choose the platform and listen accordingly.
