OnePlus Nord CE 4 Launched with Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC

OnePlus today has launched the OnePlus Nord CE 4 in India as the latest smartphone in it’s budget-friendly lineup of smartphones. The smartphone succeeded last year’s OnePlus Nord CE 3 and comes with many upgrades including an upgraded chipset. Check out the detailed specifications below.

OnePlus Nord CE 4 specifications:

The device is made up of plastic like other budget smartphones and weighs 186 grams. there are curved edges on the sides and a dual rear camera setup in a vertical layout along with an LED flashlight. There are three separate circular rings housed in a vertical pill-shaped camera module, each for the dual camera sensor and LED flashlight.

On the front is a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with an adaptive 120Hz fast refresh rate with 394 ppi and 93.20 screen-to-body ratio. The display supports HDR 10+, DCI-P3, and has a peak brightness of 1,100 nits under direct sunlight. There is a Panda Twice-reinforced Glass Protection on the display.

Under the hood is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset paired with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. The internal storage can be expanded up to 1TB using a micro SD card. OnePlus included an X-axis linear motor in this device for gaming. It runs on Oxygen OS14 on top of Android 14 out of the box. The company promised two years of OS updates and three years of security updates.

For optics, there is a dual rear camera system headlined by a 50MP Sony LYT600 primary sensor with optical image stabilization. The primary sensor is paired with an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultra wide-angle camera. On the front is a 16MP selfie shooter for selfies and video calls housed in a centered punch-hole cut out at the top of the display. The camera setup supports recording 1080p videos at 60 frames per second and 4k videos at 30 frames per second.

The device packs a massive 5,500 mAh battery with 100W superVOOC charging support. The best part is that OnePlus has included a 100W fast charger in the box. OnePlus claims that this device can be charged from 1 to 100 percent in just 29 minutes with the included charger in the box. Other specifications include dual stereo speaker, 5G, 4G, LTE, dual-WiFI band, USB Type C port, Bluetooth 5,4 and IP54 rating for splash resistance.
